Description
Plants green, erect, small, simple or branched. Leaves clustered at top, ovate lanceolate, acuminate with acute apex, margin dentate at upper two thirds of the leaf, costa percurrent or short excurrent. Leaf bordered by one row of narrow elongated cells. Leaf apical cells short rectangular, thin walled while basal cells large rectangular. Seta erect, short, slender. Capsule erect short pyriform with distinct short apophysis, operculum conical. Peristome absent. Spores rounded, brown, spinose papillose.
