Description
Plants yellowish green, erect, small, usually unbranched. Leaves crowded at top, ovate to spathulate, apex acute, margin serrate at upper two thirds of the leaf, costa ending below apex, Leaf apical cells and median cells thin walled, rhomboidal to rectangular. Leaf basal cells rectangular. One row of elongated cells forming a clear border. Seta erect, long. Capsule pyriform with an apophysis, erect. Peristome rudimentry. Spores rounded, brown, rough warty.
