Description
Plants yellowish green, erect, small, usually unbranched. In cross section of the stem central strand present. Leaves lanceolate, apex acuminate, margin dentate at apex, costa percurrent, Leaf apical cells and median cells thin walled, rhomboidal to rectangular. Leaf basal cells rectangular. Seta erect. Capsule ovate, horizontal to pendulous. Stomata present at the base of the capsule wall. Peristome not seen. Spores rounded, brown, spinate
