Description
Plants green. Stems erect, upper leaves forming a rosette on top, broadly lanceolate to oblong obovate, apex acute to acumiate,margin entire or weakly serrate. Costa percurrent or short exrcurrent. Leaf cells thin walled, subhexagonal, elongated. Basal cells rectangular, thin walled, marginal cells narrow, border cells not differentiated. Seta long, erect, strongly arcuate, capsule horizontal to pendulous, asymmetrical, arcuate pyriform. Peristome teeth double, typical epicranoid, apices of teeth united to a central disc. Spores rounded, green.
